ASSEMBLY DATE CHANGE
Please be advised that the date of our class assembly has had to change due to unforeseen circumstances. It will now be conducted on Thursday, 10th September. We hope to see you there.
BOOK WEEK PARADE
The students of Room 18 certainly went all out on their costume designs in this year's Book Week Parade. Thank you to all of the parents who helped out with the outfits. Congratulations also to Leila, Isabel and Charlotte for reciting some wonderful poems at each of the assemblies - an outstanding effort from all three children.
ASSEMBLY SCRIPT
Please click on the link to find the Assembly Script. Remember to work really hard on your volume, expression and acting skills. Try to memorise your lines as well as the lines before and after your part, so that you are fully aware of when you need to speak. Remember, practise makes permanent.

GARDENING & MARKET STALL
The students of Room 18 have been looking after the vegetable garden reasonably well which resulted in a market stall at last week's assembly. There was a lot of produce at the stall, all going for the amazing price of only $1. It was great to see the students enjoying the experience.
MERIT CERTIFICATES
Congratulations and well done to all of the students who received a Merit Certificate at the Assembly. It is great to see you working hard and being the best that you can be in Room 18. Furthermore, a wonderful effort by the children with Literacy Pro. Room 18 has read the most words in the school, and we have the highest pass rate at 90%. There is a lot to be proud of. Well done to the children for earning their Literacy Pro certificates.
